Joseph P. Joyce is a Professor of Economics at Wellesley College and serves as the Faculty Director of the Madeleine Korbel Institute for Global Affairs. He teaches courses in international macroeconomics, the economics of globalization and macroeconomic theory. In 2014, he was awarded the Pinanski Teaching Prize, which honors fine teaching. He has also taught in the Hanqing-Harris Summer School, offered by the Hanqing Advanced Institute of Economics and Finance at Renmin University in Beijing and the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago. Professor Joyce’s research deals with issues in financial globalization.
